John Voelcker's New York Letters

John Voelcker's letters are his own observations about life in NY following the attack. Written without foreknowledge of the times ahead, they provide a timeless insight into events that many of us are destined to remember as mere TV images long after the raw emotions of the day have faded into the past. The letters are a rare glimpse into life in the shadow of 'ground zero', in the days immediately following the WTC attack.  I am privileged to have John’s permission to publish them here.
